I get loans approved because I know lender policies inside out. Every bank plays by different rules, and knowing who to go to and how to structure a deal properly can mean the difference between a smooth approval and a costly mistake.
But getting approved is just the start—a good broker understands how lending affects long-term wealth creation and accumulation. With a background in law, financial planning, and business lending, I see the bigger picture and structure loans in a way that supports my clients' broader financial goals.
I'm a partner at Market Street Finance, so you’re dealing with a team made up of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Between us, we’ve seen practically every lending scenario under the sun. Winning multiple awards in recent years, banks consider us a high-performing team.
As banks apply the 80/20 rule by prioritising their resources towards higher-performing brokers, this means we can get better services and results for our clients.
Having started multiple businesses myself, I know first-hand what it takes to scale a business, manage cash flow, and structure debt properly.
While in business lending, I assessed hundreds of businesses and their readiness for finance, so I don’t just look at your numbers—I know what they mean, how banks will view them, and how to structure a deal so it works.

I genuinely enjoy helping people through property and lending, irrespective of whether or not you become my client. This also means I will not gatekeep information to try and win the deal.
I aim to ensure anyone working with us is clear on processes, timelines, and any potential hurdles. Throughout your lending journey, I'm committed to keeping you informed on how things are progressing, any challenges that arise and how we plan to overcome them.
I’m not here to push quick deals. My approach is simple: I treat my clients how I would want to be treated, and so I strive to act in their best interest. While this might not make every quick buck today, I’m in this for the long haul.
My favourite things to learn about and discuss are money, property, and business, so being able to make a living from them is a privilege. Finding this passion has been a long, winding journey, but the broad range of experiences I’ve gained along the way has set me up well for mortgage broking.
I studied law and political studies in New Zealand and was admitted to the bar in 2008. Within my first month as a lawyer, I realised it wasn’t for me, so I started my first side hustle. Always looking to get more out of life, my curiosity about making money outside the 9-to-5 led me to start numerous side businesses over the years.
In 2016, the penny dropped: while earning qualifications in financial planning and mortgage broking, I began understanding how to make money from money in the form of investments and property. I instantly became passionate about property, lending and investment and immersed myself in learning everything I could about it.
Now, I get to spend every day helping people with the same problems: how to accumulate and grow wealth and, specifically, how to use property and lending to achieve this goal.
Beyond Mortgages
Losing golf balls on the course (golf tragic, but I love the game).
Watching the NBA (die-hard Raptors fan – always happy to chat hoops).
Tackling whichever fitness goal has taken my fancy – currently training for a triathlon (healthy body, healthy mind).
As an expat myself (born in Canada and raised in New Zealand), I’ve always loved to travel. While Melbourne is now home (and has been since 2012), I’m always planning our next trip. I’ve also been learning Spanish for the last 5 years, and it might be the only I’m worse at than golf.
Spending time with my family – my wife Dina, insane dog Benji, and cat with attitude Savannah
I’ll give you the clarity to make your next lending decision with confidence.
